A proposed standard for quality assessment of 3D-whole body scanners for standing postures

Whole body scanners become increasingly popular in particular for made-to-measure clothing applications. However, scanner performance and limitations are hardly quantified in a reliable manner. Two test-objects are proposed that generate information about resolution, scanning volume, colour and occlusion effects.
