Effectivity of heat packs in improving manual dexterity during cold exposure

conference paper
During prolonged cold exposure thermal comfort decreases and manual performance deteriorates. In order to maintain manual dexterity, heat packs are often used in work and leisure activities. It is the purpose of this experimental investigation to compare different heat packs in their effectivity to heat the hands and to improve dexterity.
