The working principles of the vacuum sewerage system are described. With this system the sewerage is sucked through small (diameter) pipes to the vacuum pumping station. The system can be used in villages, recreation areas, ships, trains etc. In general the system can give a solution in many cases where the conventional gravity sewers cannot be built due to technical and/or financial reasons.
