Five institutes2 are collaborating in the Netherlands in a national study concerning the long-term effects of foetal and neonatal exposure to polychlorobiphenyls and dioxins. This collaborative study started in 1990 and was funded by the Dutch Toxicology Research Promotion Programme and the Health Research Stimulation Programme.
