The Sustainability Assessment Guidance for Digital and Energy Services Infrastructure (SAG-DESI) provides a framework for evaluating the environmental sustainability of data center infrastructures delivering digital and energy services. It aligns with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Product Standard and ICT Sector Guidance, supporting compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The guidance targets digital service providers integrating ESG criteria and innovating in combined digital-energy services. Developed under the IPCEI Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure and Services program, specifically the MISD project, the document outlines scope, definitions, key indicators, and assessment methods for various digital services.
