From Linear to Circular: An Ecosystem Approach in Chemical Manufacturing

In the chemical manufacturing industry, where supply chains are typically linear, transitioning to circular value chains, where resources are reused and recycled across industries, is both necessary and challenging (Mohan and Katakojwala, 2021). Achieving this transition requires new forms of collaboration, both within and across industries, to mobilize complementary resources such as funding, expertise, and technology (Neumeyer and Corbett, 2017). However, this shift is filled with complexity, uncertainty and disagreement.
