Gas-fuelled heat pumps for existing buildings and renovations - energy transition substantiated

Heat pumps are installed mainly in new buildings, while the langer replacement and renovation market re-mains practically untouched. Within the framework of SenterNovem's 'Support for Transition Coalitions Scheme', TNO and Techneco BV are conducting a project named 'The use of ambient heat for heating exist-ing dwellings' as preparation for transition experiments with gas-fuelled heat pumps in existing dwellings.
