De ontwikkeling van leercultuur in Nederland in de afgelopen 10 jaar: een schets van trends en thema’s voor beleid

The learning culture is increasingly recognized as a significant strategic challenge for HR. This article examines its development in the Netherlands over the past decade. It investigates how the learning behavior of Dutch employees has evolved during this period and how key facilitating factors in their work environment have changed. The analysis goes beyond general trends, with particular attention paid to specific groups of employees who may require additional support. Drawing on an overview of trends in the development of the learning culture in the Netherlands, the article identifies the promotion of informal learning within organizations as a crucial strategic priority for the coming years. The article concludes by offering several suggestions for potential improvements in this area.
