Upon irradiation by 254 nm light of a mixture of cyclohexene and cycloheptene in the presence of copper(I) triflate (= trifluromethanesulfonate), a very selective co-dimerization takes place to give trans-transoid-trans-tricyclo[7.4.0.0]tridecane. ?? 1983.
