High-performance liquid chromatographic separation of diphenylamine and its reaction products with nitrogen oxides
article
A high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method has been developed that can be applied to the qualitative and quantitative analysis of diphenylamine and its reaction products with nitrogen oxides as well as their determination in single-base propellants. For the majority of the HPLC separations reversed phase chromatography is the preferred technique. Its advantages over normal phase chromatography are: short equilibration time, separating capability for polar as well as nonpolar solutes and good reproducibility of retention times.
