29—The theoretical minimum cb(G) curve
article
The CB(G) curve is found by plotting the coefficient of variation for a certain length against the mean weight of that length. This curve has the advantage over the CB(L) curve in that the different curves of a spinning system can easily be compared. The theoretical curves of all counts and blends can easily be drawn with the aid of a specially designed gauge. If, for wool, no points are wanted in the area from G = 0·15 [formula omitted] Tt, two simple formulae will be sufficient for the calculation of theoretical CB(G) values. © 1963, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
