Mercerizing of cotton and its effect on crease-resistance and crease-recovery
article
This paper describes a study of the mercerizing process in which special attention was paid to factors governing the physical—mechanical properties of mercerized cotton yarns and fabrics. The results are of value when judging the merits of a premercerizing treatment in connection with a resin treatment. © 1962, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
