report
For today’s healthcare challenges, we acknowledge that a systemic approach is crucial, but not self-evident. Josephine Sassen will introduce us to the idea of a “systems table”, where participants unlock deep understanding of complex challenges while at the same time building the skills and mindset needed to engage in transdisciplinary collaborations. Heleen Wortelboer will share the outcomes of her own deep dive into a systemic analysis of our healthcare system, in particular the conflicting values between curative and preventative healthcare. For an intro to the importance of Transdisciplinary Research, read the article coauthored by Josephine Sassen: "Transdisciplinary Research: If it’s so important, why aren’t we all doing it?
