Characterization of emission produts formed during firing of small caliber ammunition - Poster -

conference paper
During the firing of ammunition, emission products are formed to which the shooter and the environment will become exposed. In order to judge which weapon-ammunition combination can best be used in certain situations to reduce the exposure of personnel as much as possible, it is important to know which parameters influence the formation of the emission products. This study focuses on:
• The various parameters that (in)directly influence the formation of emission products;
• Two types of setups for experimental determination of emission products and exposure.
