On assignment of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, ECN has studied the current calculation methods for the correction rates within the SDE+ regulation. The correction rates should represent the value which a producer can receive by selling its renewable electricity, gas or heat on the market. ECN has analysed whether current calculation methods are still representative to calculate this market value. In case it turned out that calculations did not meet the representative values, ECN has elaborated on possible alternatives. The analysis has focused on calculation methods for future regulations only.
