fuels and replace them by renewable energies, Angola as well as multiple other African
nations, are positioning themselves to become relevant actors in this area. One avenue
followed by Angola is to explore and develop its potential to produce and export green
hydrogen. This report describes current developments and future perspectives in this
respect. It provides information about pilot projects, key players, and offtake perspectives,
analyzes opportunities and challenges, and identifies collaboration areas between Angola
and the Netherlands.
