In this position paper, we as the Dutch satcom industry address the challenges faced by Europe and the
Netherlands with regard to secure space communications and pose actions to help overcome them. Leveraging our strong heritage in semiconductors, radar, ultraprecision optics manufacturing, and space instrumentation, along with recent investments in quantum technology and optical satellite communication, this paper present reliable and trustworthy Dutch solutions to these challenges.
