Toepassing van omgekeerde osmose bij de zuivering van varkensdrijfmest
report
An investigation has been carried out into the applicability of reverse osmosis to the desalting of diluted pig manure. For aerobic-biologically treated filtrate of the pig-manure dewatering by using a belt press, it seems possible to reduce the concentration of minerals, phosphorous and nitrogen containing compounds to such an extent that discharge of the effluent (permeate) to surface water and/or the municipal sewerage system will be possible. The costs for desalting 1 m 3 pretreated filtrate by reverse osmosis amount to Dfl. 3.00 - 5.00. This is a factor 2 or 3 lower than evaporation
