Analysegegevens van AFBB-reststoffen van run 001 t/m run 010

report
At TNO-Apeldoorn a 4 atmospheric fluid bed boiler is built which is operational since June 1982. In this report the analytical results of the ashes produced in runs 001 up to and including 010 have been compiled. Evaluation of the data has shown that the possibilities of recycling a filter-ash fraction that is rich in carbon and/or calcium oxide, are limited. It has also been found that while working at steady state process conditions, approx. 30 hours after putting the installation into operation or after changing the process conditions (without renewal of the bed), a state of equilibrium is reached which allows representative ash samples to be taken. Using comparative figures relating to samples taken from containers and process flows it can be concluded that in all the cases investigated a leaking cyclone ash duct has resulted in contamination of filter ash (in containers) with cyclone ash. For taking samples from containers, contents of which have proved to be very inhomogeneous, a quick and reliable sampling method has been developed.
