Wind-flow patterns close to building facades
conference paper
Wind-flow patterns close to building surfaces are of importance for several engineering problems such as convective heat transfer, wind loading of facade eleents and wind noise.
This paper shortly discusses the necessary similarity criteria for wind-tunnel model testing og these wind-flow patterns. Attention is also given to the applicaton of these data to the above mentioned engineering problems. Velocity measurements close to a building facade are used to predict convective heat loss ans wind-noise levels
