Investigations on organotin compounds. XXII: hydrolysis products of alkyltin trichlorides
article
When ethyl-, butyl- and octyl-tin trichlorides are subjected to increasingly severe hydrolysis conditions a number of hitherto unknown compounds are formed which are intermediates between alkyltin trichlorides and alkanestannonic acids. The preparation and properties of these compounds and of the corresponding stannonic acids are described.
