Metasurface 2-D Leaky-Wave Antennas Fed by Multiple Sources

Leaky-wave antennas are nowadays very popular. They have been proposed for several applications, such as communication systems, tracking, and remote sensing. A plethora of designs have been studied and characterized, based on different technologies and configurations. We consider here a special type of leaky-wave antenna based on the use of metasurfaces, which defines a Fabry-Perot cavity, fed my multiple sources. A previous design proposed by some of the Authors is briefly reviewed and some ongoing developments are presented.
