Mobile networks are a key driving force for the digitalisation of our society and the earning power in all economic sectors, from industry and energy to logistics and healthcare. Dutch companies have identified large opportunities in 6G network technology and applications that will enter the market from 2030 onwards. In addition, the targeted development of 6G can strongly contribute to the Dutch and European ambitions in the areas of digital autonomy and sustainability.
6G Future Network Services programmavoorstel ingediend voor 3e ronde Nationaal groeifonds. Het FNS consortium heeft op 2 februari 2023 onder leiding van TNO, in samenwerking met het ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat en Topsector ICT, een ambitieus voorstel ingediend bij het Nationale Groeifonds. Het consortium heeft een nationaal programma uitgewerkt waarin ruim 60 partners de komende 6 jaar intensief met elkaar zullen samenwerken op het gebied van 6G Research & Development en Innovatie (R&D&I). Het totale programma heeft een omvang van 312 miljoen euro, waarvan ongeveer 90 miljoen euro via Open Calls ingevuld zal worden.
