Future role of hydrogen in the Netherlands: a meta-analysis based on a review of recent scenario studies
report
This report is a joint deliverable of two projects, i.e. (i) the HyChain 1 project, a research program coordinated by the Institute for Sustainable Process Technology (ISPT) and (co)financed by TKI, industrial and research partners, and (ii) the Integrated Energy System Analysis (IESA) project, commissioned and funded by the research institute Energy Systems Transition Centre (ESTRAC). ISPT acts as an innovative intermediary between industries, SMEs, government and knowledge institutes, organizing various events as well as collaborative research programs and projects. ESTRAC is a joint initiative of some knowledge and research institutes in the Netherlands – including TNO, ECN (since April 2018 part of TNO), the New Energy Coalition (NEC) and, more recently, PBL – as well as some Dutch energy companies, including Gasunie, Gasterra, EBN and NAM. In addition to funding from the ESTRAC partners, the IESA project has benefitted from funding by the Green Deal program of the Dutch government.
