The two case studies on Weapons & Explosives (W&E) detection (Explosive Trace Detection products and People screening portals) have investigated some main topics that were identified as specifically important to be included in a harmonised certification scheme. Along with these main topics, other scheme template elements were addressed additionally. This report summarises the main findings of the two case studies and presents the implications of these findings for the harmonised certification scheme template / framework.
