The main objective of this study is to quantify the effects of closure of all the coal-fired power stations in the Netherlands in 2017 or 2020. The main effects considered in this study are:<p> CO2 emissions <p> Electricity prices <p> Generation mix <p> Cros-border trade in electricity <p> Costs of electricity production <p> Cost-effectiveness of CO2 emission reduction <p> These impacts have been determined relative to the Voorgenomen beleid߿ݠscenario of the National Energy Outlook 2015.
