Logistics is one of the top sectors in the Netherlands and currently on the rise again. The smart organisation of the flow of goods can help the Netherlands retain its leading position. The use — but even more importantly, the sharing — of data is essential for this. But what information can you give away? And isn't the competition going to take advan-tage of this? TNO is developing an experimental environment for sharing data in a secure manner, where it shows that the combination and enrichment of data can give rise to new logistics insights which can generate benefits on many fronts.
