VITEX 2016 : Evaluation of learning objectives and exercise set-up
report
To strengthen awareness of the need for cooperation, between public and private partners, and between countries, a new exercise set-up was developed. The VITEX exercise set-up is a table top exercise that aims to bring relevant networks together, and supports cooperation and collaboration between those networks. The exercise set-up forms the basis of the exercise, in which different scenarios – relating to the various critical infrastructure sectors - can be trained. Thus it contributes to a shared understanding of what the Critical Infrastructures means within Member States are and how European cooperation can contribute to improve the resilience of Critical Infrastructure.
VITEX 2016 was held in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, on the 11th and 12th of May 2016. Participants were from a government and an energy sector background.
