Ecodriver. D2.1: Dissemination and Communication plan_Issue2 (Incl. D2.2: Project Website)

report
The Dissemination and Communication Plan sets the reference for all planned dissemination activities during the project lifetime. It defines target groups, communication actions, how they will be performed, by whom and when, as well as the project’s identity. This report also incorporates an outline of the project website (which constitutes D2.2) as well as screen shots and key statistics. Throughout the plan we distinguish between tasks that are mandatory (in the Description of Work – DoW) from tasks that will be carried out only if the necessary resources can be made available, or when opportunities are identified. Whilst project’s goals are usually defined on a scientific level, communication aims to increase awareness of the project and to trigger desired actions by the recipients (for example, providing feedback on a document or encouraging participation in an event). The key communication content are a fact sheet, a standard presentation, news items, brochures (a first leaflet in 2012 and a more comprehensive brochure in 2013 showing progress to date, then a more comprehensive brochure at the end of the project), and two videos (in 2014 and 2015).
The communication channels comprise principally the project website (D2.2) but also media contacts, a Stakeholder Group (SG), the Forum (mailing list together with a group on the LinkedIn network), journals, events, ITS networks, etc. The project participates in ITS Congresses and also organises its own workshops and a Final Event, as well participating in external events where relevant.
