The fungal resistance of interior finishing materials

The interior finish plays a pivotal role in the risk management of fungal growth in the indoor environment. As has been shown in the previous chapter on water relations of indoor fungi, its impact not only stems from material constituents, but moreover from the ability of moisture storage that leads to prolongation of favorable humidity conditions at the material surface.
