DVB-C2 Deployment: 4096 QAM or Not?
article
For many operators, the deployment of DVB-C2 could be instrumental in solving network capacity shortages. Applying the 4096QAM modulation, DVB-C2 provides a throughput of more than 80Mbps per 8MHz channel. However, DVB-C2 4096QAM requires a high signal level and, therefore, operators must know whether they can apply a suffi ciently high DVB-C2 signal level in their networks without degradation of the existing analogue TV and digital signals.
