Focal plane arrays for THz imaging
conference paper
The growing attention for Terahertz technology finds support in the high number of applications which will benefit by its use. In the space science sector, the investigation of the THz frequency range will improve the knowledge of the universe, giving a clearer view on its origin and its evolution. In this paper an overview of the work done on the design of a focal plane array based on KIDs sensors is reported. Moreover, a new modeling tool for array of large lenses will be presented. © 2012 IEEE.
