Delay and Angular Spread in the Urban Radio Channel : Measurement-based analysis for improved radio network planning

report
This report contains an analysis of delay spread and angular spread in the mobile radio channel based on measurements in the centre of Rotterdam. The dependence of delay spread on several conditions is studied, such as distance and orientation of the transmitter and local clutter near the mobile receiver. The report is a deliverable from the BEKAPLAN project, which studies the impact of radio channel properties on LTE throughput
