Electricity and fuel prices: background study in support of feed-in tariffs in 2008

To determine the financial gap (OT) for renewable electricity for 2008 this report provides an analysis of the projected electricity prices on the Dutch electricity market for the period 2006-2027. A bandwidth for the short- and medium term is constructed on the basis of the most recent insights on fuel prices and CO2 certificate prices. For the short-term market indicators such as forward and futures prices have been used. The path and bandwidth for the electricity price pro-jections will provide a basis for a reference value to be used in the OT calculation.
