Ia like antigens of rhesus monkeys are distinct from conventional Rh1 A antigens, β2 microglobulin, and immunoglobulin

article
In rhesus monkeys, alloantigens with Ia like characteristics also seem to be controlled by the major histocompatibility complex, RhL A (Balner and van Vreeswijk 1975). This paper reports immunocytological studies to distinguish those Ia like antigens from the conventional serologically defined RhL A antigens (SD), from β2 microglobulin, which is known to be associated with conventional SD antigens, and from surface immunoglobulins. Antibody induced redistribution of antigens on the cell surface was used to differentiate among the various specificities. Chemicals/CAS: beta 2 microglobulin, 9066-69-7
