Pressure equalisation of brick masonry cavity walls

This paper describes two full-scale experiments in which the pressure distribution over the layers of brick masonry cavity walls is studied. The first experiment focuses on the specification of the wind loads on both outer and inner leafs of these walls. The second experiment is set-up to find a model to describe the transport of moisture, heat and air inside cavity walls. The experiments are described in detail and some preliminary results are presented.
