Back disorders and whole-body vibration at work

This thesis describes the relation between occupational exposure to whole body vibration and the incidence and prevalence of disorders of the spine and the back. It focuses on sickness absence and permanente work disability of crane operators, tractor drivers, helicopter pilots, forklift truck-drivers and drivers of wheelloaders. The results of these studies were combined with the results published in the literature in a meta analysis.
