The multi-functional cleanroom of TNO Building and Construction Research at Delft (NL)

For studies in rooms in which dust-free air is important, the department of Indoor Environment, Building Physics and Systems of TNO Building and Construction Research has access to a multifunctional cleanroom annex operating theatre (OP). On the ICCCS-symposium in Zürich 1990 TNO Building and Construction Research the idea was born when a Dutch manufacturer of cleanrooms asked for measuring the air tightness of a new system wall construction for cleanrooms in developing.
In 1993 the new wall construction system was ready and in the mean time the idea was worked out to a bigger plan for building a multifunctional class-100 cleanroom annex operating theatre together with sponsors (for the complete list of sponsors see Appendix 1).
