This report has been written as a part of the work on Temporary Agency Work (TAW) from the European Foundation for Improvement on Working and Living Conditions. The present report constitutes a descriptive view of the current state of affairs concerning TAW in the Netherlands, without aiming to provide a full description of all developments in this sector since the sixties. This national report will be used as a background document covering the work done by other researchers in all Member States. The report specifically focuses on Temporary Agency Work, although other forms of flexible labour are also briefly reviewed.
