Antennepatronen meten met behulp van de nabije-veld methode

Near Field Measurement: a new method to determine Antenna Radiation Patterns. To determine the radiation patterns, the Antenna Under Test has to be exposed to a plane electromagnetic wave. The classical approaches are treated shortly, followed by an explanation of a more recent developed method, called Near Field Measurement. In this method, the plane wave is composed in a synthetic way by a small probe antenna in the vicinity of the Antenna Under Test. By means of a Fourier Transformation the measured Near Field is transformed into the Far Field Radiation Pattern. The advantages and disadvantages as well as some aspects concerning the accuracy are treated.
