Sensor Data Fusion for Anti-Personnel Land-Mine Detection

conference paper
In this paper four different sensor data fusion options for the detection of anti personnel land-mines are presented. The performance of options are evaluated in a simulated case study with estimated frgures for mines and possible fals alarm generating objects. The Dempster-Shafer implementation with best mapping for masses and uncertainty, and the rule based fusion provide the best result and show an improvement over single sensor solutions.
