The actual energy consumption of labelled and non-labelled restaurants.
In recent years, ECN (part of TNO) has produced various data on energy consumption for several building types within the services sector (tertiary sector), as offices, schools, elderly homes, etc. These figures indicate the gas and electricity consumption per square meter gross floor area, depending on building size, year of construction, energy label and (when known and relevant) occupation. Data can be used for benchmarking purposes, or for estimating the indicative consumption of a random building. This study analyses restaurants in the Netherlands.
