The central theme was "Ergonomics in the digital age". In this paper about the workshop 'participatory ergonomics' four approaches are presented and discussed with the attendees of the workshop. Among others four approaches found in the literature are: a linear step-by-step approach, a Problem Solving Group Procedure, a start-up approach and a user test. Each approach has advantages and disadvantages. These will be discussed in the workshop after a presentation of a case of each method.
