Abstract
This paper, presented in poster form addresses the use of radar remote sensing in coastal zone management. Current and future applications in The Netherlands are highlighted with an outlook to technology and models that are involved. Applications include monitoring of the environment, oil spills, shipping, bottomtopography, coastal erosion. In the Land Water Impulse programme Decision Support Systems incorporating remote sensing techniques will be developed.
