Abstract
During the last years, we have witnessed the appearance of smart watches, fitness/activity trackers and many other small devices attached to/embedded in our clothes and accessories. These devices are known as wearables. Wearables are Internet of Things (IoT) devices designed for personal use. Coming in various shapes and forms, wearable devices are equipped with mini computers and sensors/actuator to gather information, process, display and communicate data either directly through embedded cellular connectivity or through another device. The growth of the wearables market in the last few years is impressive.
