Abstract
Tomorrow driver comfort will become more and more important for car manufacturers in distinguishing themselves from others. Today, comfort can only be assessed and tested very late in the design and construction process (often using prototypes). Potentially, biomechanic software provides a solution for early comfort testing. Hence, the application of this software will decrease cost and development time. This paper will briefly describe comfort research to provide data needed for iomechanic modelling software.
