Publication year 2017 Abstract The usage of radar system modeling in the radar resource manager (RRM) or in the resource manager of a suite of sensors is discussed. Multiple ways to monitor the validity of the models are identified. The capability of such models to predict estimated elevation angle under anomalous propagation conditions has been investigated. Satisfactory results were not obtained. It is concluded that inclusion of modeling in the (multi-sensor) RRM is logical and rational.
